What is The SMART Way™?
In these times, we need to be smart about our workouts. That’s where this Main Line resident can help! Roberta Kitchenoff has always been committed to health and wellness. She is a nationally certified fitness practitioner and health advocate. Roberta provides wellness & fitness coaching services virtually. This 64 years young wellness guru is confident that working out like this is “The ONLY Way for Fitness” for so many reasons:
Aids in avoidance of unsafe/unhealthy environments with no need for burdensome masks.
Enables you to never miss a workout. Away for the summer or winter? Or even away on business? As long as your destination has WiFi, you can stay fit without sacrificing a workout.
Eliminates the need to travel to a fitness center, wasting electric/fuel or polluting the environment. No cleaning off snow (when we had it) before driving, fighting traffic or looking for a parking space.
"Whether you want One-On-One Personal Training or to work out in a Group Fitness Class, do it The SMART Way from the convenient location of your choice!"
How does it work?
You will be asked to have inexpensive fitness equipment on-hand such as hand weights, a resistance tube, stability and Pilates balls. These are all that are necessary to get a total body workout. No expensive machines are necessary!
Upon payment, you are provided with a ZOOM link. Just click on it and you are in Roberta’s Home Fitness Studio. You can see everything that she is instructing because she has a rear mirrored wall. You will communicate directly with each other. No muting! Have a question; just ask. She can see you too. She will offer ‘fixes’ and modifications specific to your individual needs.
Should you prefer to workout with other virtual classmates, you can choose from various currently taught formats like Core & More, Burn & Firm or Body Works: The TOTAL Body Experience.
If you would like to create a virtual classroom of your own, Roberta is open to doing so. Since it is virtual, you can set-up classes in multiple cities and countries with friends and family. “Keep in Touch” classes are popular with past roommates, sorority sisters, cousins, etc. “Special Occasions” also may warrant a Small Group Workout: A special birthday celebration, wedding readiness or even a workplace team builder class.
No matter which direction you select, feel assured that Roberta Kitchenoff, is well qualified to assist you in reaching sustainable results. Not only does she have well respected fitness certifications, she has a collegiate background in Anatomy, Physiology, as well as Nutrition Science and Pharmacology. Since its inception nearly two and a half years ago, clients and students alike have noticed a difference in their strength, endurance, flexibility and balance. They believe that it is because Roberta is a stickler for proper form to maximize the impact of an exercise. You can bet that you will be challenged physically, but in an encouraging and supported manner. Are you ready for a more personal workout than following a streaming class on your iPad or television? Roberta welcomes an opportunity to confidentially talk with you about your goals and answer any questions you may have regarding her experience and how she may assist you.
About Roberta
Roberta began her professional life as a Registered Periodontal Hygienist in Pittsburgh. She did that for only two years when she decided that she wanted to challenge herself more.
She spent a year taking prerequisite courses and applied to Graduate Business Schools. With her college sweetheart in Philadelphia, she decided to give the City of Brotherly Love a go. Following the completion
of her MBA program, she became employed by the Campbell Soup Company… And BTW, married that that guy from college. First, she was a Consumer Market Researcher. Then for the next 20+ years she gained increased responsibilities with each of the various Brand and Promotion Management roles held. After such a lengthy career at Campbell’s, it came to a point that Roberta decided to leave the Fortune 100 Company and refocus her priorities to ill family members.
Growing up in a medical/science-focused family, she always had an interest in health & wellness. Should that be her 3rd career? Others thought so! The Fitness Director at the Kaiserman JCC, where Roberta belonged, strongly encouraged her to get a Group Fitness Certification because of her skills and knowledge of the body. She did that and began teaching Group Fitness classes there. That was just the first of many certs for Roberta. After less than a year, the Fitness Director left the JCC and Roberta was asked to step into the supervisory management role with P&L responsibility of nearly 30 Personal Trainers and Group Fitness Instructors. Additionally, she oversaw fitness & wellness programs including a comprehensive Group Fitness Schedule with 50+ varying format classes.
Unfortunately, the facility where Roberta was the Fitness Director was financially not sound and closed permanently; therefore her job was eliminated. That is when members came to Roberta begging her to get a ZOOM account and continue what she had been doing for them prior to the shutdown. So that is exactly what she did.
