Expanding Mane Techniques in Wayne
Cara and Mary opened Mane Techniques in November of 2019 and quickly outgrew their double and single suite inside of Sola Devon Square. "We are forever grateful for the clients we have to be able to experience an opportunity as wonderful as searching for a new salon home less than a year after opening." Inventory for commercial real estate on the Main Line was barren, and refusing to settle for something without complimentary parking left them limited. After almost 3 years of searching for a place to expand, they will finally be moving to their new home inside a beautiful piece of Wayne's history, at 322 E. Lancaster Avenue.

At Mane Techniques, sustainability & eco-friendly options are important aspects of our business, and we are committed to being a leader in the industry. We use energy-efficient equipment and as many natural, USDA organic, and non-toxic products as possible while providing the highest level of service to minimize our environmental impact. It's important to note that the beauty industry is notorious for its contribution to environmental damage, including pollution and waste. That's why we are proud to be a salon that's taking steps to be more sustainable. In our efforts to reduce waste, we've been a paperless company since day one, and have implemented strategic ordering practices to avoid excess packaging and delivery, despite the added expense. Additionally, multiple electric vehicle charging stations are under installation to have for the opening of our new location in June 2023.
We are proud to announce that the entire building, including our salon, will be "Energy Star", "LEED", and "Green Seal" certified. We also plan to become an official "Green Circle Salon" and be "Green Business Certified" within the first 6 months of our opening.
We were and will continue to be committed to using sustainable materials in our salon build-out, and as such, we incorporated FSC and Cradle to Cradle materials into the design. These materials will help to minimize our environmental impact and ensure that our new salon is both beautiful and eco-friendly.
